Should Everyone With Type 2 Diabetes Go Low Carb/Keto | Type 2 Diabetes Education
The low carb/keto diet is all the rage at the moment, especially in people with type 2 diabetes but is it for everyone?
While it can provide benefits in the short term we need to consider the implications it has for the longer term. If we focus too much on losing weight and keeping blood sugars down we might be losing sight of other aspects relating to your health, increasing your risk of other problems later on. I’m not against a low carb keto diet but I believe there is a right and a wrong way to go about it and it’s more suitable in some people.
